With my native roots in Delhi, India, born and raised in Muscat, Oman, and having completed my B.A. in Southern California, I've spent my life constantly being exposed to different cultures, personalities, and ideas. Because of my 'jump-into-it' upbringing and global exposure from traveling 20+ countries, I have an appreciation for diversity, genuine connection, and humor that I incorporate into everything I do– creatively, professionally, and socially.
Since writing my first poem at 8-years-old titled "Chick by the Brick," I have consistently tried to invest in my fascination of language and communication. Over the years, my interest has broadened to encompass the ways in which we communicate without words; through visual media and technology, I found that there are ways to connect with people from all over the world that transcend language barriers and cultural differences. It was no surprise then that I chose to purse a degree in Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in English when I joined Chapman University's Dodge College of Film & Media Arts in 2013.
I identify as an ENTP and am always on the look-out for ways to keep myself occupied that not only spark my interest, but also help others. I value acceptance and self-care and strive to empower those around me in reaching their full potential. Professionally, I have an eye for detail, thrive in synergistic environments, take the initiative to get things done, and actively cultivate a balance between efficiency and creativity. My interests range from nightly journaling to finding the newest photo editing app, from Westworld to Queer Eye, and from watching tennis (read: Roger Federer) to listening to ZAYN. As someone who was raised to value empathy, adaptability, and adventure, I am constantly seeking new opportunities to learn and contribute in any way, shape, or form.
